John Wojciechowski, MS, CSCS, NSCA-CPT
John began his fitness journey when his parents signed him up for gymnastics lessons at the age of seven. He's since participated in karate, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, football, track & field, highland games, powerlifting, grip sport, OCR and even recently completed a marathon.
He earned a track & field scholarship to Rutgers University where he was regionally successful with the shot put, discus and 35lb weight until suffering a career ending injury to his throwing hand.

Metabolic Functional Fitness started as a personal training business operated out of John's garage in West Orange, NJ. The business eventually moved into a small studio around the corner from that house and has now grown into the fun group training place it is today.
